Job Description: Program Manager
Position Overview:
The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the performance of work and compliance with contract requirements. As key personnel, the Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and services, and addressing Government inquiries and requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure contract compliance and the successful execution of all assigned tasks.
- Approve all required deliverables and products in accordance with contract terms.
- Respond promptly to questions and requests from the Contracting Officer's Representatives (COR-HRS and COR-RA) and the Contracting Officer (KO).
- Monitor contract performance, proactively identify problems, and provide the Government with timely notification of funding or execution-related issues.
- Act as the main liaison between the Contractor and the Government, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet program goals while adhering to budgetary and performance constraints.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or a similar field, with at least 10 years of experience managing programs; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Social Work, or a similar field, with 3-9 years of experience managing programs and preferably 10 years of military-related experience.
- Experience:
- Proven track record in program management, preferably within a government or military setting.
- Experience managing complex, multifaceted programs and ensuring contract compliance.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in managing budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Knowledge of military culture, protocols, and operations (highly preferred).
Preferred Location:
- National Guard Bureau (NGB): Candidates based near or able to relocate to NGB are highly preferred to facilitate direct coordination and oversight.
