The Risk Reduction Coordinator (State Level) is responsible for coordinating and implementing state-level initiatives focused on substance abuse prevention, suicide prevention, resilience training, and program management. This role requires a proactive leader with experience in prevention strategies, program and case management, and a strong ability to adapt communication styles for diverse audiences. The position may require a variable schedule, including frequent weekend availability to support training activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, coordinate, and manage state-level programs for substance abuse prevention, suicide prevention, and resilience.
- Provide case management support and program oversight to ensure successful outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
- Conduct training sessions, briefings, and presentations tailored to various audiences, including military and civilian stakeholders.
- Collaborate with state units to align program efforts with broader organizational objectives and ensure effective delivery during weekend training events.
- Act as a subject matter expert on risk reduction strategies and provide consultation to unit leaders, program participants, and stakeholders.
- Monitor program performance, collect data, and report on key metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise or manage program staff, as required, ensuring high-quality performance and adherence to program objectives.
- Maintain flexibility to accommodate variable schedules, including weekends, to support training activities and program requirements. Qualifications :
- Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or a similar discipline).
Minimum of four years of practical experience in substance abuse prevention, suicide prevention, or resilience programs.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
