Requirements of the Physical Therapist (PT) :
Current PT license in the State of Texas
Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT) :
Plan develop and implement treatment protocols to treat improve or maintain consumer s level of function or minimize risk.
Design and fabricates / oversees construction of seating mobility positioning and other orthotic / assistive equipment Complete all required training
Review and analyze assessments progress reports monitoring data incident reports and medical consults to determine efficiency / impact on therapeutic services
Participate in quality assurance and quality enhancement activities related to therapeutic services at the facility and state level
Design direct and oversee competencybased training program for both consumers and staff
Participate in conference for diagnosis and treatment planning.
