About the Role:
We’re looking for experienced and safety-driven drone operators to join our network of contract pilots for critical infrastructure inspections. As a trusted partner to leading energy providers, government agencies, and industrial clients, we deliver high-fidelity data to help our clients improve safety, optimize operations, and reduce downtime.
This is a 1099 contract position with competitive pay and opportunities for long-term collaboration. You’ll work on cutting-edge projects using advanced drone technology, performing aerial inspections, confined space surveys, and terrain mapping across energy, power, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate drones and sensor equipment to collect high-quality inspection data in varied environments.
• Conduct pre-flight assessments, site safety checks, and post-flight reporting.
• Capture and process data using LiDAR, thermal imaging, and other advanced payloads.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure deliverables meet client standards.
• Work in confined spaces, industrial facilities, and remote sites to conduct critical inspections safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For:
FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot
Proven experience in industrial drone operations
Familiarity with LiDAR, thermal imaging, or multi-spectral sensors
Strong understanding of FAA airspace regulations and risk management
Ability to work in confined spaces and challenging site conditions
Tech-savvy with experience using mapping software and data processing tools
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience:
• Background in infrastructure inspections, power sector operations, or utility asset management
• Experience with data analysis tools like Pix4D, DroneDeploy, Bentley, or CloudCompare
• Knowledge of confined space protocols and industrial safety standards
