CTW Automation is a small North Carolina based company that designs and manufactures Automotive testing equipment. Our machines are used by major automotive and damper manufacturers worldwide, including auto racing teams. We specialize in damper (shock absorbers) / spring testing and are expanding our product offering in the future.

We are looking for an Electrical Designer / Drafter to generate production and custom drawing packages
Job Responsibilities:
- Create/revise low voltage electrical line diagrams in accordance with customer build specifications under the supervision of the Electrical Technical Director.
- Generate Bills of Materials for control line diagrams.
- Generate complete build packages for the panel wiring production team.
- Create cable harness diagrams, BOM’s and manage production of those items.
- Create Panel layout drawings while adhering to product and NEC/IEC guidelines.
- Manage revisions of current drawing catalog and red lines from the production floor.
- Assist production personnel with drawing interpretation or electrical design questions.
- Communicate with Mechanical engineering for cabinet modifications.
Qualifications (Required):
- Associate degree in Electrical discipline or in Industrial Automation or 5 years of electrical experience in Industrial Automation.
- 1-2 years of experience in creating /revising electrical line diagrams.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio).
Desired Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics
- Experience with Autodesk Fusion 360 Electrical.
- PLC experience: simple programming and communications.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Ability to generate electrical schematics, analog and digital.
- Familiarity with the IEC 61010:1 Machinery safety standard and associated build standards.
- Familiarity with NFP79 / NEC.
- Familiarity with ANSI and IEC drawing standards / styles.
