Kennsington Grille is an American fare Bar & Grille style restaurant centrally located on the spacious Kennsington Golf Course in Canfield, Ohio. Our restaurant features a full bar and menu along with 3 different seating venues for patrons: indoor, veranda and outdoor patio... all with scenic views of the beautiful Golf Course.
We are seeking seasonal culinary staff to best serve patrons during our busiest time of year! We are in search of qualified: Prep Cooks, Lines Cooks and Sous Chefs.
The successful candidate will employ their culinary skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction. Starting wage negotiable with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise.
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions.
- Familiar with industry’s best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in similar restaurant/kitchen positions.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.
- Must be available to work Morning and Sunday shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
