Housekeeping

The Courtyard Canfield was awarded #1 in Guest Satisfaction in 2023 by Marriott International and has received Marriott's Diamond Circle Award for six consecutive years (2018-2023).

We are looking to continue this high level of excellence and are in search of Housekeepers to maintain this height of guest satisfaction.

We are also seeking Housekeepers to join the team of our all-new Marriott SpringHill and Towneplace extended stay suites located nearby the Courtyard Canfield hotel.

As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate is an energetic, self-motivated and dependable individual who wants to help provide clean and comfortable living spaces.

Duties:

- Clean and tidy all areas of the hotel including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and changing linens
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are stocked and properly maintained
- Adhere to hotel cleanliness standards and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Assist with laundry duties as needed

Experience:

- Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping roles within a hotel setting
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus

Hourly wage starting at $13.00 per hour, experienced Housekeepers have the potential to start at $13.50 per hour.

Bi-weekly pay.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 32 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
