What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Specialist position at CU Hawaii Federal Credit Union?
Plan and implement the credit union’s employee education and training programs that reflect the strategic plan of the credit union. Ensure that ongoing development of all employees reflects strategic priorities and quality service to members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct training sessions for new employees in clerical or administrative positions, teller or member service operations, and other areas of the credit union.
2. Administer the credit union’s training programs by personally creating and/or coordinating presentations and presenting programs.
3. Create training activities for interactive participation.
4. Evaluate outsourced programs and/or vendors to augment training internally. Coordinate and utilize external training programs and products that enhance the credit union’s training program.
5. Assess the credit union’s training needs with input from managers, member satisfaction surveys, employee assessment surveys, and other appropriate sources.
6. Assist department managers with employee development.

Education and Experience:
a. High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
b. Prior financial institution experience a plus
c. Knowledge of XP core operating system a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $29.00 per hour
