Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: You’ll be analyzing large sets of complex data and converting it into actionable insights. From reviewing client data to ensure it aligns with compliance requirements, you’ll play a pivotal role in tracking and reporting grant progress. Heavy use of Excel will be essential.
- Grant Compliance: You’ll ensure accurate and timely reporting for CDFI grants and certifications, diving into detailed data analysis for progress reporting. This involves reviewing data for completeness, assisting with grant writing, and working with our team to ensure compliance with reporting deadlines.
- Process Improvement: You will actively seek out process improvements within the data collection, reporting systems, and tracking methods, bringing efficiency to every step of the process. Whether you’re streamlining database structures or improving reporting templates, you’ll make an impact through thoughtful process optimizations.
- Client Support: As one of the point of contacts for client data analysis, you’ll provide support to clients, ensuring they understand reporting requirements and how to track loans and benchmarks. You’ll assist with addressing client inquiries and providing guidance on their data.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: You’ll help monitor key metrics related to our clients’ grants and certifications, tracking performance and using data to identify areas for improvement. This includes managing ongoing reports, updating data dashboards, and creating reports for internal stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including grant compliance and project management, to provide data-driven recommendations that enhance organizational performance. You’ll assist in cross-functional projects to ensure the company’s data needs are met, from gathering insights to communicating those results clearly to management.
- 2 years of experience working in data analysis or a similar field.
- Heavy experience using Excel.
- Proficiency with Access or similar database software.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data in an easy-to-understand way.
- A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Experience with SQL for querying databases.
- Knowledge of CDFI compliance or reporting systems like AMIS or CIMS.
- Previous experience in the credit union industry or lending.
