Job Details
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing, editing, and processing Quality System documents and procedures to ensure compliance and clarity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create manufacturing work instructions, risk files, and visual aids, supporting manufacturing-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and process compliant Quality System documents, including work instructions, forms, procedures, and risk files.
- Create and edit flowcharts, diagrams, and other visual aids to support documentation.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Technical teams to gather insights for documentation.
- Support manufacturing-related projects, including process scale-ups and improvements.
- Apply feedback to improve documents and procedures continuously.
- Communicate status updates and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain manufacturing document scanners and provide training support for the document change process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of technical writing experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to track and report on multiple projects.
- Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP.
- BS/BA in English, Technical Writing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications in technical writing or related disciplines (if applicable).
