Description:
We are seeking a Vehicle Electrical Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and support electrical and embedded systems for commercial mowers and golf/turf vehicles. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing robust electrical systems, and ensuring seamless integration of components.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Integration: Develop and integrate vehicle electrical systems for off-highway and commercial vehicles.
Prototyping & Testing: Build mule vehicle electrical systems, perform software bring-up, execute diagnostics, and support V&V testing.
Manufacturing Support: Work with manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams to resolve electrical system issues in a production environment.
Collaboration: Work with global cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, efficiency, and compliance.
Must-Have Qualifications:
4 years of experience in electrical/electronic engineering.
4 years of experience in electrical system design and/or embedded systems.
4 years of product engineering experience (off-highway vehicles, automotive, or industrial systems).
4 years working with design automation & CAD tools.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Onsite role – remote work is NOT available.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Proficiency with Capital Harness and CREO (or similar 3D CAD tools) for harness design and routing.
Experience with network diagnostic tools (CANalyzer, CANape, UDS, XCP).
Knowledge of J1939 CAN, LIN, SPE, USB, and other vehicle communication protocols.
Familiarity with EMC qualification standards.
Experience with VC-A2 (≤60VDC) vehicle architectures.
Exposure to telematics, BEV/HEV electrification, and automation.
Salary : $50 - $53
