Safety Coordinator

Job Title : Construction Safety Coordinator

Location : Dublin OH

Duration : 06 Months Contract / Temp with the possibility of extension

Shift Details : 1st shift

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Safety Coordinator to ensure all employees and subcontractors comply with site safety requirements and company safety standards. This individual will be solely responsible for safety compliance on the project and will be part of a larger dedicated safety team overseeing all trades onsite. The role involves conducting regular safety meetings maintaining compliance documentation and actively developing and implementing daily safety plans.

Responsibilities :

Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and sitespecific safety requirements.

Conduct daily safety inspections and enforce safety protocols.

Develop and implement site safety plans and job hazard analyses.

Lead and participate in safety meetings with employees and subcontractors.

Maintain accurate safety documentation reports and incident records .

Provide safety training and enforce policies to prevent workplace hazards.

Investigate and report accidents nearmisses and safety concerns .

Work closely with the project management team to ensure a safe work environment .

Must Have Qualifications :

OSHA 30Hour Certification (completed within the last 3 years)

First Aid CPR and AED certifications (current)

Ability to identify and mitigate workplace hazards

Degree in Occupational Safety Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field OR minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Safety Coordinator

Preferred Qualifications :

ASP CHST or CSP designation

Experience working with subcontractors and large construction teams

Strong knowledge of safety compliance reporting and documentation

Ability to work effectively in fastpaced construction environments
