About Us:
Cubework.com, the leader in co-working and co-warehousing spaces, is looking for a Facility System Support Specialist to strengthen our daily operations through smart automation and practical workflows. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll collaborate with planning, engineering, and vendor teams to optimize facility layouts, implement inventory systems, and develop efficient property management processes. Key responsibilities include building tenant support protocols, streamlining maintenance requests, creating resource allocation systems, and ensuring our diverse spaces—from storage units to premium offices—operate seamlessly. This role requires both technical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills to enhance operational efficiency while delivering responsive support to our growing community of tenants across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain IoT applications, including firmware, device drivers, and cloud integrations
- Work with sensors, microcontrollers, and communication protocols to enable device connectivity
- Assist in designing, testing, and deploying warehouse automation and property management automation solutions
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware-software integration issues
- Work with cloud platforms and edge computing solutions for data processing and analytics
- Implement security best practices for IoT device communication and data handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and functionality
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging IoT technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32)
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C, or C
- Knowledge of communication protocols like MQTT, HTTP, Bluetooth, Zigbee, or LoRaWAN
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT) is a plus
- Understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, Wi-Fi, and LPWAN)
- Familiarity with databases and data storage solutions for IoT applications
- Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with IoT development kits and prototyping
- Exposure to warehouse automation and property management automation technologies
- Experience with industrial IoT (IIoT) applications and smart building systems
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles related to IoT security
- Previous internships or academic projects related to IoT solutions
