Traffic Engineering Intern:
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in civil engineering with a focus on traffic engineering.
$25 – $30/hr. benefits.

Job Details:
Traffic Engineering Intern:
- This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects
- You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships
- You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors
- Focus on Signal Performance Measures (SPM) Comprehensive intersection configurations
- Device/License management, and User management
- Perform traffic engineering and project management tasks to deliver a wide variety of transportation planning, transit, traffic engineering, safety, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) projects for many, diverse clients
- Learn how SynchroGreen traffic signal adaptive software is configured, setup and deployed.
- As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in civil engineering with a focus on traffic engineering.
- Strong academic performance with a relevant GPA.
- Basic knowledge of traffic engineering principles and concepts
- Familiarity with traffic analysis software (e.g., Synchro, TransCAD)
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques
- SimTraffic, 3D Viewer, Trip Gen and Warrants
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to effectively present technical information
- Previous internships or research projects related to traffic engineering
- Participation in student transportation engineering organizations
- Experience with traffic data collection or analysis
