About the Role
We are seeking a trailblazing Founding Research Engineer to drive cutting-edge advancements at the intersection of robotics and AI. You’ll conduct ground-breaking research, design transformative algorithms, and build scalable systems that bring generative AI models to life in real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in generative AI domains such as diffusion models, transformers, and advanced machine learning architectures.
- Design and implement innovative algorithms and apply them to real-world robotic applications.
- Develop scalable systems that integrate foundational AI models into practical robotic solutions, turning theoretical concepts into industry-accepted tools.
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to define and execute the company’s technical vision.
Requirements
- Proven Research Impact: Demonstrated history of publishing impactful research in AI/Robotics at top conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICRA, CVPR, ICML).
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of technologies including transformers, diffusion models, and cutting-edge AI methodologies.
- System-Building Skills: Expertise in designing and implementing complex systems.
- Location Requirement: Must be based in New York, as this is a hybrid position.
