ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re searching for a knowledgeable and creative beverage manager who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-driven environment.  As the Beverage manager, you will oversee the bar team, and menu. The ideal candidate is a wine and cocktail enthusiast with an appreciation for Italian cuisine and hospitality.  As the Beverage Manager, You should be a strong leader and mentor, capable of training and inspiring a team while maintaining high service standards. If you're someone who loves curating exceptional beverage experiences and can balance creativity with financial savvy, this role is for you!


SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 

  • Lead and oversee the beverage program, ensuring a well-curated and innovative selection of wines, cocktails, and spirits.
  • Develop and maintain a robust wine list with a strong emphasis on Italian selections, ensuring proper storage and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the bar team to design seasonal craft cocktails and beverage pairings that complement the menu.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on wine knowledge, cocktail techniques, and proper beverage service.
  • Manage vendor relationships, sourcing high-quality products while negotiating favorable pricing.
  • Monitor and control beverage inventory, ordering, and stock levels to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor, engaging with guests and ensuring an outstanding beverage experience.
  • Work closely with the culinary and service teams to create a seamless dining experience.
  • Track sales performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to maximize beverage profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 2 years of beverage management experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
  • Extensive knowledge of Italian wines, spirits, and craft cocktails.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and develop a team.
  • Proven ability to manage costs, negotiate with vendors, and drive profitability.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Sommelier certification (preferred but not required).

Salary : $76,000 - $88,000
