Role Overview:
This hybrid role combines front-door hospitality and guest service support. As a Host, you will be the first impression of Cucina Toscana—greeting guests warmly, managing reservations, answering phone inquiries, and coordinating the dining room flow. As a Server Assistant, you’ll support the waitstaff by delivering food and beverages, maintaining table settings, and ensuring each guest experience is seamless from arrival to farewell.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow in fine dining and develop both floor and guest management skills.
Responsibilities:
Host Duties:
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and manage seating flow with grace and professionalism
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries about reservations, menus, and special events
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area
- Communicate effectively with the FOH team to manage wait times and table turnovers
Server Assistant Duties:
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverage with precision and professionalism
- Clear and reset tables between courses and after guest departure
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas
- Anticipate guest needs and support the team in providing seamless, Forbes-level service
Ideal Candidate:
- Passion for hospitality and fine dining
- Polished, professional appearance and demeanor
- Clear communication skills and a warm, confident presence
- Ability to multitask and move efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative, high-expectation team culture
- Prior fine dining or upscale hospitality experience preferred, but not required
Schedule & Expectations:
- Evening shifts required
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Approx. 25–40 hours per week depending on availability and performance
- Must be able to relocate or commute reliably to Salt Lake City, UT
