Cuckoo Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall e-commerce and retail order processing, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
- Provide regular reports and analysis to the Managing Director on e-commerce business insights, including sales trends and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to manage day-to-day data and sales revisions, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
- Update inventory levels across key retail channels, including Amazon, Costco, Macy's, Williams-Sonoma, and others.
Inventory Planning (International Logistics):
- Oversight and management of product forecasting to ensure in-stock status and optimal inventory turns in a high-growth digital environment.
- Responsibility for receiving, warehousing, distribution, and operations, ensuring seamless logistics and supply chain management.
- Coordination and control of the order cycle, from receipt to delivery, to meet customer expectations and company standards.
Domestic Logistics:
- Strategic management of 3PL warehouses, ensuring compliance with company policies and vision.
- Focused on efficiency and cost-effectiveness of freight operations, balancing customer delivery requirements with cost per delivery needs.
- Identification and reporting of logistics-related problems or delays, enabling prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions.
- Maintenance of quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of goods movement and storage, adhering to company standards and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven track record of 5 years in e-commerce product experience, with 1-2 years of lead experience, preferably including Amazon 1P and 3P.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant in-depth experience in an operational environment, with expertise in logistics, transportation, and supply chain management.
- Solid understanding of the transportation industry and logistics principles, including SPS, EDI, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Experience working with multiple priorities, managing competing demands, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.
- General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures, with ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
