What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Director position at CUDAS UnHooked?
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to and manage all staff to ensure job duties are successful. This includes House Parent, Accountant, Marketing Coordinator and Volunteers.
- Coordinate meetings with Volusia County School personnel dealing with unaccompanied youth in the high school including but not limited to guidance counselors and teachers as well as social services and community leaders.
- Manage all volunteers, and organize specific roles for new volunteers. If possible, recruit a volunteer ‘Volunteer Coordinator’ to provide more detailed assistance. Oversee that all Volunteers have required training and background checks. Oversee mentor coordinator.
- Provide leadership, organizational strategies and problem solving to maintain operations.
- Organize fundraiser opportunities including by speaking to community members and civic groups about the mission of Cudas Unhooked.
- Manage/oversee CUDAS House operations, partner with houseparent for day-to-day operations, attend new resident team meetings. Oversight of team meetings with potential new house candidates and participate in decisions as to whether each student will fit into the culture of the CUDAS house for a successful outcome.
- Manage-school club operations, inclusing for activities and speakers and community service opportunities.
- Participate in Annual Budget creation and review quarterly budget reports.
- Monitorall finances including bills, credit card expenses, club expenses, and donations.
- Cultivate relationships with local agencies in the community and school (social services, guidance counselors, and teachers).
- Report periodically to board of directors.
- Take daily cell phone calls and monitor emails, promptly reply to messages and emails.
- Occasionally transport of students, must have and maintain reliable vehicle insurance. (Copy on file at Cudas House.)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $37.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
