What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician / Customer Service Staff (PT) position at Cuddle Bugs Pet Resort?
Looking for someone who loves animals. Must have good work ethic, reliable transportation and punctual to work. Someone with previous kennel is not necessary. We will train right person.

- This position requires lots of cleaning, some lifting and handling of all sizes and breeds of dogs, and a continual show of love and care to our clients.
- Cleaning boarding areas, washing dishes, laundry, outdoor yards, and other deep cleanings in the kennel,
- Preparing and distributing meals, treats, medication, and fresh water.
- Bathing dogs.
- Handling dogs throughout the facility.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge with computers is a plus but not required.
- Friendly and positive attitude.
Job Requirements:
- We have a morning shift that requires employees to arrive at 7:00 am.
- We have an afternoon shift that requires employees to stay until approximately 7:00 pm. This can be earlier because we do close at 6:30 pm.
- Employees are required to work a minimum of one weekend a month which entails Saturdays arriving at 7:00 am and leaving between 5:30 and 6:00 pm. Sundays are a split shift with employees arriving at 7:00 am and leaving between 9:00 and 10:00 am depending on how many baths are needed for departing dogs. Employees return at 2:00 pm for dogs that are going home and will usually finish around 6:00 or 6:30 pm.
- After working a weekend you can have Monday and Tuesday off.
- We operate holidays like Sundays; however, the difference is all staff members are required to work but they will only work either a morning or afternoon shift and it typically is only about three hours.
Salary : $16,500 - $21,000
