What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at CUDDLE UP PUP LLC?
As a front desk receptionist, you will be responsible for checking in dogs, communicating with clients, cleaning the lobby, and running retail, among other things. Excellent communication skills are a necessity as you will constantly converse with clients, employees, and the occasional vet clinic. Furthermore, you will be in charge of answering questions and addressing issues while also managing client records.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Receptionist and/or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and during stressful situations
- The position requires patience and the ability to handle difficult dog behavior in a gentle, but effective manner.
- You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle large breeds of dogs with no problem bending, crouching, reaching, and being on your feet for long periods of time.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel & Word).
- Have reliable transportation
- Good multitasking and organizational abilities
- 17 years of age or older
