About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and professional Beverage Director to lead and launch the beverage program for Cuerno in New York. You'll take on a leadership role, serving as an educator, coach, and mentor to the Bar and Service Teams, instilling Cuerno’s core values. - Use beverage offerings to drive guest engagement, encourage new customers, and build loyalty among existing patrons.
- Continuously look for internal and external opportunities to grow and develop the team.
- Foster a positive, collaborative environment between service and kitchen teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Educate the Service Team on wine, beer, cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages to enhance guest experiences and meet financial objectives.
- Complete all end-of-period reports, inventories, and forecasts on time and with accuracy.
- Ensure proper execution of all beverage changes, with a focus on communication and education.
- Maintain and update POS systems, inventory, and beverage lists to ensure accuracy in all beverage-related sales.
