We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. As a key member of the Front of House team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth service operations and an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly to create a welcoming first impression.
- Manage reservations and efficiently assign tables to optimize seating and service flow.
- Maintain the waitlist and provide accurate wait time estimates.
- Monitor and accommodate guest needs at the entrance.
- Guide guests to their tables and present menus.
- Answer incoming calls and address customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Front of House team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Minimum of 2 years previous Host or related experience.
- Prior fine dining experience a plus.
- Proficiency with Resy reservation system preferred.
- Strong understanding of restaurant etiquette and sequence of service.
- Familiarity with reservation and waitlist management procedures.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including allergy protocols.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to move and lift items up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, plus tips
