Description:
Cuero Regional Hospital is searching for a PT HEALTH TECH in our WELLNESS Department.
The position will assist in the instruction of equipment and programs to members in the area of Wellness and Rejuvenation Center. Will assist with maintaining facility, equipment and complete other duties assigned by the Wellness manager and assistant manager.
Other requirements include but are not limited to:
- Maintains a clean working environment. Performs routine equipment maintenance, where applicable.
- Assists with program development.
- Provide members with thorough walk through and provide basic start up plans for the clients.
- Provide guidance to members about correct cardiovascular or resistance procedures. This should be done where the clients will not feel embarrassed.
- Process and orient new members.
- Be knowledgeable of Wellness Center Policies. Enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to the exercise floor and fitness room and rejuvenation center.
- Adheres to all CCH policies, procedures, and standards, within budgetary specifications, including time management, productivity, and accuracy of practice.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department- based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resources to less experienced staff.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in a Fitness & Health Industry preferred
