Role Overview

The Vice President of Lending will play a key role in shaping the future of lending and driving strategic growth at Abri Credit Union. This leader will oversee all lending functions, including real estate, consumer, business, and participation loans, as well as collections and loan servicing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and modernization of the credit union's lending operations
• Oversee loan portfolio management, risk mitigation, and member service excellence
• Drive innovation in lending practices through the adoption of new technologies and data-driven strategies
• Foster collaboration across departments to ensure effective teamwork
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
• At least five years of experience leading, planning, and managing lending strategy and innovation within a financial institution
• Proven experience with loan portfolio management and strategic lending practices
• Strong leadership skills, including emotional intelligence, communication skills, and relationship building

What We Offer
