Job Title: Procurement Assistant, Sustainability
Cuisine Solutions, a premium, fully-cooked frozen food manufacturer, has an immediate opening for a Procurement Administrator. You'll work in a safe, high-end environment. In fact, this facility was recently named a top food production plant by Food Engineering Magazine.

WORKING HOURS: Monday- Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
SUMMARY: Provides support in all areas of procurement for the plant and participates in the global strategy of the company for procurement operations. This position reports directly to Director of Procurement.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Understanding of role and importance of sustainability initiatives in manufacturing
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar capacity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using NetSuite strongly preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated experience using an ERP or ordering system is required.
- Understands and has working knowledge of accounts payable functions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Gather data from vendors regarding their sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint, resource management, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Monitor vendor compliance with sustainability standards and company guidelines.
- Assist in the reporting and score carding process of vendors.
- Issues purchase orders for warehouse/factory consumables, office/breakroom supplies, and general needs of the plant.
- Liaises with Accounts Payable to ensure invoicing and receipt are accurate and resolves discrepancies with minimal impact to the business.
- Works with vendors, QA, and accounting for returns and credit.
- Interacts with Inventory Control Team and Receiving to assess the needs of the plant.
- Utilizes NetSuite to adjust POs and receipts and also produce schedules and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
