Job Summary
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests, by welcoming and warmly greeting guests on arrival. A lead host oversees guest seating, manages reservations, and ensures smooth front-of-house operations to deliver excellent customer service.

- Manage reservations and coordinate seating to optimize table turnover, constantly analyzing reservations day to day to make sure books remain clean.
- Oversee the host team, ensuring they follow proper protocols for seating and guest interactions.
- Oversee the host trainees, ensuring they are set up for success for their time at Culamar.
- Handle special requests and accommodate guests with unique needs and strive to go above and beyond for our guests.
- Coordinate communication between the host stand, servers, and kitchen to ensure smooth service.
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner when managers are not present.
- Communicate to management before/after shifts with any major concerns.
- Train and mentor new hosts to ensure consistency and quality of service.
- Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the entrance and host area.
- Update reservation software (e.g., Resy) and manage any changes in real time.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with management to improve guest flow and service efficiency.
- Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
- Assisting with running food, making folds, polishing plates, and rolling silverware during any down time
- Ensuring the host/hostess stand stays clean/tidy/polished
- Making sure bathrooms stay stocked and clean
- Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies and clean restrooms when necessary.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
