We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a key role in leading the kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your strong leadership skills and ability to manage a profitable P&L.
Responsibilities :
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage kitchen schedules, labor costs, and food costs to achieve profitability targets.
Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
Uphold and enforce kitchen policies, procedures, and standards.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to kitchen staff.
Stay current with industry trends, culinary techniques, and best practices.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume, seafood-centric restaurant.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, seafood preparation, and kitchen operations.
Demonstrated ability to manage a profitable P&L and achieve financial targets.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
