What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAFE SERVER / BARTENDER (WEEKENDS REQUIRED) position at Culinaire?
Culinaire is in search for a CAFE SERVERS / BARTENDERS to join our amazing team at Museum Cafe that is located inside the Toledo Art Museum. The cafe is closed on Monday and Tuesday, and opened Wednesday through Sunday. The work schedule will include work on Saturday and Sunday.
A few important job duties are as follows:
- Greet the Guests with a positive and professional attitude to take to them their orders, prepare orders, cash out tickets and a variety of other admin duties.
- Arrange for food items for the purpose of making it readily available to the guests
- Clean equipment, floors, storage areas, tables and utensils to keep it clean, organized and neat
- Take order for the guests by offering daily specials or other items that might be to their liking
- Responsible for comprehending all prices as a result on knowing prices on menu.
- Complete responsibility and accountability for cash register drawer as outlined in the cash handling policy.
- Collects payments for food items from guests by completing a proper transaction with no errors or mishaps
- Inspect foods items that are to be served to the guest for accuracy
- Assist our guest as needed for a pleasurable dining experience.
- Address the customers in a positive and professional manner at all times
- Perform all assignments and tasks as assigned by the department head
