Job Summary
As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within the Village Club, ensuring that the culinary team maintains the highest standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation. You will manage a diverse culinary team, oversee catering events, and ensure that all food and service is delivered at an exceptional standard. Your leadership will guide the creation of menus, cost management, and inventory control, while also collaborating with marketing to roll out new culinary programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, ensuring high-quality presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Manage cost controls, monitor food costs, and work within budgetary guidelines to control expenditures effectively.
- Plan and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients, client preferences, and the overall brand vision of the Village Club.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining par levels to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of culinary associates, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Work closely with the marketing and culinary teams to roll out new culinary programs, special events, and promotional menus that attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Ensure all kitchen operations adhere to health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
- A degree from a recognized culinary institution is preferred, though experience may substitute for formal education.
- 2-5 years of experience in culinary management, with prior experience in high-volume kitchens, hotels, restaurants, or corporate dining settings.
- Proven experience managing and executing catering events, ensuring flawless service and culinary excellence.
- Previous experience managing food cost controls and optimizing expenditures to improve profitability.
- Ability to lead a team effectively, managing staff performance, fostering a positive work environment, and driving team success.
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a top-notch food service company.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Creativity in menu design and food presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
