We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Assistant with extensive Litigation experience to join our team in the Uniondale office.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in drafting, editing, and organizing legal documents and pleadings
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones and communicating with external parties
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- At least 3 years of tort litigation experience in a law firm is highly valued
- Familiarity with litigation procedures, processes, and State and Federal court e-filing systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with iManage is an asset
- Able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic
