Job Title: Injection Molding/Insert Molding Technical Manager
Location: Northeast, NJ
Company: Growing, profitable medical molding organization
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of 5–10 professionals, including Mold Set Up technicians, Process Techs, Process Engineers, and Mold Makers.
• Oversee daily injection molding plant production operations in a modern, clean facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair injection molds, presses, and handle tooling changeovers efficiently.
• Coordinate integration of new equipment and drive process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and process guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
Qualifications:
• Proven injection molding plant production experience.
• Preferred background as a Journeyman Mold Maker, AS Engineering, or BS degree holder.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and repairing injection molds and presses.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and technical aptitude.
• Effective communication and organizational abilities.
Salary : $100,000 - $160,000
