What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Test Engineer position at Cullerton Group?
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Laboratory Test Engineer in New Freedom, PA. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $60 / hr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hardware debugging, board-level testing, and real-time simulation with a strong background in MATLAB / Simulink, HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), and Opal-RT . This role involves working in a lab environment with high voltages, oscilloscopes, and other testing tools to support the development and validation of electrical and electromechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute HIL and MIL simulations using MATLAB / Simulink .
- Work with real-time simulation hardware , with a preference for Opal-RT experience.
- Perform hardware design, prototyping, and validation .
- Utilize simulation tools such as SPICE or Saber for system modeling.
- Conduct board-level debugging and hands-on hardware testing .
- Analyze and optimize induction motor characteristics and control methods .
- Simulate electro-mechanical systems in Simulink and integrate with mechanical components.
