What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer 2 position at Cullerton Group?
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Process Control Engineer 2 in Clayton, NC The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $35/hr W2 full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay.
Our customer is the largest manufacturer of construction equipment in the world.
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Support lab testing of electric drive components and systems – performance and durability testing
Typical task breakdown:
- Develop Test Plan, Coordinate DUT modifications, Instrument and Installation of DUT, Execute testing, Data analysis, Summarize results and conclusions, lead weekly update meetings, document findings, create presentations, troubleshoot issues with test stand, DUT, controls, etc
Interaction with team:
- Will work with a team lead or Sr engineer to learn role and that individual will continue to mentor and oversee testing activities
Education & Experience Required:
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering and 2-4 year experience
Technical Skills
(Required)
- Previous testing experience, product development experience, demonstrated mechanical system troubleshooting skills
(Desired)
- DEWESoft DAS experience, Canape experience
