Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer in Lindon, UT. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $75k / yr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.
The ideal candidate will have experience in value engineering, cost analysis, and new product development (NPD) with a strong background in mechanical design and analysis . This role requires proficiency in SolidWorks, ASME standards, GD&T, and design risk assessment methodologies such as DFMEA / DRBFM . The candidate should have expertise in should-cost analysis to drive cost-effective engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform should-cost analysis to optimize product design and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Support new product development (NPD) initiatives by contributing to mechanical design and value engineering efforts.
- Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling, design modifications, and product enhancements.
- Apply ASME standards and GD&T principles to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Conduct DFMEA / DRBFM assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks in product designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to drive continuous improvement.
Salary : $75,000
