What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCB eCAD Designer position at Cullerton Group?
Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a PCB eCAD Designer in Bothel, WA. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $65 / hr W2
including full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, and 401K. Cullerton Group will provide H1B Sponsorship.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PCB Layout Engineering within the medical domain , with a strong background in designing high-speed PCBs for complex systems. Expertise in routing, component placement, and adherence to medical device standards is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications :
Siemens Xpedition Layout & DxDesigner VX2.8 expertise is mandatory
Experience in designing high-speed PCBs , including interfaces like SATA, DDR4 / 5, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, PMIC
Knowledge of power plane routing , creepages and clearance , and length matching
Experience with PCB eCAD Libraries using EDM Library
Familiarity with constraints editor system for rule-based design
Proficient in Fablink (panelization) and Variant Manager for managing design configurations
Experience with Drawing Editor for creating PCB layouts and documentation
Strong understanding of DFM / DFA (Design for Manufacturing / Assembly) principles
Familiarity with Valor Analysis for design verification and optimization
Extensive knowledge of high-speed interfaces , especially in medical systems and devices
Salary : $65
