Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Plant Modeling and Co-Simulation Support – Automotive Industry in Warren, MI. The work will be done onsite. Compensation is hourly W2 benefits.

About the Role :
The ideal candidate will have a strong system-level understanding and expertise in modeling sensors and actuators using industry-standard tools. This role involves developing, testing, and optimizing plant models for use in VHiL, HiL, SiL, and Co-Simulation environments within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities :
Interpret electrical schematics and diagnose circuits and control systems for sensors and actuators.
Develop sensor and actuator plant models using MATLAB-Simulink, Stateflow, and Simscape .
Define and enforce interface standards to ensure compatibility across various simulation environments.
Create and execute test cases based on customer requirements and model specifications.
Lead data acquisition efforts to characterize performance and diagnostic responses.
Manage model change requests , including enhancements, release notes, and technical support.
Define virtualization requirements and collaborate with suppliers, hardware teams, and control engineers.
Align short-term and long-term modeling requirements between in-house teams and external suppliers.
Balance virtualization needs across vehicle and propulsion systems for common components.
Incorporate vehicle calibration variations into model designs for enhanced robustness. Required Skills & Tools :
