Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Engineer in Fremont, CA. The work will be done onsite. This is a long term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is up to $90k / yr including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Cullerton Group will provide sponsorship.
The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance and EMC testing , with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering . This role requires strong knowledge of NFPA, SEMI, and CE compliance standards , along with expertise in fire safety, EMI / EMC analysis, and regulatory testing . The candidate should be skilled in fire prevention planning, compliance documentation, and diagnostic troubleshooting for EMC-related issues .
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure products meet NFPA, SEMI, and CE regulatory compliance standards.
- Develop and implement fire safety plans , codes, and standards.
- Conduct fire safety inspections , risk assessments, and compliance audits.
- Perform EMC / EMI testing and analysis , troubleshooting issues related to shielding, grounding, and filtering .
- Work with compliance standards such as FCC, CE, MIL-STD-461, CISPR, IEC, and ISO .
- Utilize testing equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, Anechoic Chambers, and Antennas .
- Prepare compliance reports and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
