The Cullerton Group is looking for an experienced Tooling Design Expert to join our team in Mossville, IL. This position involves working onsite and requires up to 30% international travel. The hourly rate for this role is $55, including benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K, and holiday pay.
You will be part of a global team based in Mexico and India, working together to support production facilities worldwide by providing guidance, resolving tooling issues, and driving productivity improvements.
This role requires a strong background in tool and die making, as well as experience in project management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. You should also have proficiency in 3D modeling and familiarity with work holding equipment.
- Evaluate current and future product/process designs to assess tooling compatibility and identify opportunities for design modifications to enhance production.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure process efficiency, cost control, and quality improvements.
- Advise suppliers on required tooling, dies, fixtures, etc., to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Assess existing applications and conduct feasibility studies for new tooling solutions.
- Integrate new and existing systems and processes, ensuring compatibility and directing adjustments as needed.
