Service Technician Summary :
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for operating commercial, residential, and light industrial water treatment systems and performing scheduled preventive maintenance as required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Mainly residential service calls for water treatment applications as well as installation of new water treatment equipment
- Basic knowledge of plumbing is critical. We provide paid training for our water treatment systems
- Must be able to troubleshoot on site
- Safe operation of a company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal laws
- Follow established safe procedures
- Complete scheduled service orders

Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, licenses and registrations required : Valid drivers license
Other skills required :
Basic plumbing and electrical experience
Mechanically inclined
Willing to work a full-time schedule and be on-call
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Continually required to stand, walk, sit, utilize hand and finger dexterity, and talk or hear
Continually required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
Occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions (non-weather)
Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
Occasionally work in high, precarious places
Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions
Occasionally exposure to extreme heat or cold (non-weather)
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet-moderate
The employee must occasionally lift and / or move more than 100 pounds / frequently lift and / or move up to 100 pounds / continually lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include : Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Additional remarks regarding work environment : Occasionally will work in confined spaces
Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used : Use of power tools, possible forklift, and handheld devices
