What are the responsibilities and job description for the NURSE PRACTITIONER PT - NEONATAL position at Cullman Regional Medical Center Inc?
Job Summary:
- Coordinate plan of care, discharge, and specialty referrals as appropriate to meet the age specific needs of the patient.
- Plan and coordinate healthcare education for patients, patients' family, and other health care providers as needed.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments.
- Interpret, analyze, and evaluate patients medical record and social data.
- Perform and/or assist the physician with procedures per collaborative agreement.
- Coordinate and participate in performance improvement activities.
Education:
Master's degree in Nursing with a Neonatal NP certification required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner(NNP) Specialty by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
Experience:
Required 3 years experience working with pediatric neonatal patients.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills. NNP with NRP certification required.
