Job Summary
- Manages contracts and leases as appropriate and necessary.
- Develops goals, objectives, and key performance metrics for assigned departments to ensure consistency with the overall plans for the organization and that they promote cohesive, integrated, safe, and efficient functioning of the hospital.
- Manages division activities to achieve key operational, expense management, and quality performance metrics.
- Assists department heads/directors in directing work activities, establishing system control procedures, implementing administrative directives, and managing staff performance.
- Performs other special projects as appropriate and necessary.
- Reviews and approves personnel actions such as hiring, termination, and disciplinary actions.
- Develops and implements strategic goals related to quality improvement, management programs and accreditation standards.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates construction and capital projects and monitors project progress against accepted timetables.
- Coordinates office relocations as necessary.
- Possesses the ability to adapt to interruption in workflow and instantaneous changes in priorities to respond to crisis situations involving patients, plant, procedures, or inspections.
- Reviews and approves departmental operating, administrative, and personnel procedures, and oversees implementation and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree is required. Masters Degree is preferred.
- 5 years' experience in a hospital operations
- Effective communication skills necessary. Excellent organizational skills are necessary, and written and verbal experience required.
