Job Summary :

• Under supervision of RN, principle responsibilities are sitting with and monitoring of patient who are at high risk for falls and / or injury to self or others through direct observation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by registered nurse.
• Support patient safety initiatives and quality improvement activities.
• Demonstrate essentials of professional courtesy, respect and customer services.
• Communicate to RN patient status and any changes.
• Follow directions from other staff members as appropriate.
• Remain calm in crisis and emergency situations and communicate as appropriate.
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient / guest experiences.
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.

Qualifications

Education :

High school education or up to 6 months related experience.

Experience :

Additional Skills / Abilities :

Excellent communication skills are required.
