Job Summary:
- Demonstrate understanding of application of healthcare finance to impact clinical and financial results.
- Demonstrate competence in hospital accounting, internal control environment, and compliance requirements.
- Control costs to ensure hospital financial stability.
- Coordinate hospital financial reporting and audit responsibilities.
- Direct the budgeting process for the entire organization.
- Responsible for day-to day operations of the Accounting Department and all accounting functions.
- Ensures all accounting policies and procedures are accurate and in compliance with regulations.
- Demonstrates and encourages team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
- Upholds and promotes patient safety and quality.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Accounting required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
Five years Accounting experience required.
Additional Skills / Abilities:
Must be able to effectively communicate with managers and employees regarding sensitive issues. Must be proficient in the use of personal computer, email, and accounting software. Must be able to set priorities, coordinate and organize multiple tasks, and maintain control of workflow. Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
