About the Role
Culmen International is hiring an Engagement Coordination, Event Planning & Protocol Communications Officer to provide support for the Research Directorate at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and will be onsite in Springfield, VA.
NGA Research’s Strategic Partnerships and Communications (SPC) provides oversight of all partnerships and communications plans. This role provides communications and event management expertise assisting in comms with congressional and legislative affairs, academic and institutional/industry outreach activities and programs and international cooperation and international agreement activities between NGA and our foreign partners.
What You’ll Do in Your New Role
- Provide personnel to organize and logistically support program meetings including, but not limited to, All-Hands Research-Wide meetings, RFO off-sites, new concept industry days/workshops, and other outreach events and open-houses sponsored or supported by NGA Research.
- Support planning, organizing, scheduling, agenda planning, registration services and facilitation in support of events.
- Prepare conference material and proceedings, provide for audio‐visual services/equipment and security services for in person meetings at NGA, NSG, DoD, IC locations, and meeting venues as well as virtual meetings and conferences through webcasting services.
- Coordinate with external vendors of hotel and conference facilities to obtain proposals for facilities, equipment, food service, and accommodations on an as needed basis. The Contractor shall present proposals from the hotel and conference facilities organizations to the Government personnel for selection and budgetary approval.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelors degree
- 15 years relevant experience
- Willing to sit for CI Poly.

The determination of compensation at Culmen International, LLC is based on various factors such as location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, clearance level, experience, internal equity, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $118,998 – $148,748 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Culmen's total compensation package for employees.
