CULTA is currently looking for our next Inventory Generalist to join our Compliance team and support our 3 Dispensary Store locations team in Baltimore, Columbia, and Urbana MD. The Inventory Generalist plans and manages all aspects of our dispensary store Inventory and related transactions throughout the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and METRC. This role ensures accuracy of all transactions, impacting inventory balances as well as related reporting with primary focus on data governance as relates to both the ERP and METRC.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure products are available when needed, while avoiding overstock situations.
- Coordinate the receipt, inspection, and storage of new stock, ensuring that items are accurately recorded and stored in appropriate locations.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock; including product descriptions, quantities, and locations.
- Develop and maintain organized storage systems and optimize space usage.
- Participate in the development and implementation of inventory strategies and policies.
- Work closely with the Procurement team to align inventory levels with forecasted demand.
- Will facilitate the compliant tracking of cannabis inventory in all CDG locations, by coordinating weekly audits and inventories as directed with inventory staff at each store.
- Ensure inventory processes are fully compliant with all state regulations related to cannabis storage, distribution, and reporting.
- Is responsible to report any and all inventory discrepancies through channels to Risk/Compliance staff; and to coordinate the investigation into, and resolution of, all such discrepancies.
- Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and segregated according to regulatory requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel capabilities and ability to manipulate data.

- Knowledge of METRC (inventory management program).
- Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Must be able to work onsite.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills, and a high level of maturity.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Time Management: Schedule/Attend Meetings as needed.
