Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in implementing behavior analysis programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This position requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
Duties
- Provide session coverages when cancellations occurs from BT/RBT
- Be the liaison between families and BTS and other CALM administrative teams.
- Assist with carrying remote training of the 40 hour course for RBT training.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Conduct assessments and collect data to monitor client progress and program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across environments.
- Provide training and support to direct care staff on ABA techniques and best practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in research data collection to contribute to ongoing program development and improvement.
- Assist in developing educational materials and resources for clients and their families.
Experience
- Active BCaBA credential from the BACB/Student BCBAs are welcomed to apply!
- A strong background in applied behavior analysis, special education, or related fields is essential.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques and strategies is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical recordkeeping practices and HIPAA compliance is beneficial.
- Previous experience in research data collection will be considered an asset.
