Your Role:
The Career and Internship Programs department at CEA CPA is a rapidly developing, innovation-driven department dedicated to equipping students with essential career-readiness skills to succeed in their lifelong careers. CEA CAPA is seeking two paid interns to support the US-based Career and Internship Programs team in Phoenix from January-May 2025.
The interns will assist the team will all aspects of guiding Career and Internship Program students through the placement process during the pre-departure phase of their program. They will assist with providing professional feedback on Global Internship students’ career documents (e.g. résumés and cover letters), collecting student documents, reviewing students for acceptance, responding to general student inquiries, and facilitating clerical and administrative processes.
The interns will be encouraged to think outside the box, share their fresh and innovative ideas, and engage in mini projects that align with their skills and interests and that enhance the student experience. They will receive hands-on mentorship from a team of NACE-certified full-time career coaches that will enhance their own career development and personal and professional skills.

What You’ll Do:
- Support certified career coaches in reviewing and providing professional feedback on students’ career documents, including Résumés and Statements of Interest
- Ideate and launch new mini projects and initiatives that align with your skills and interests and the priorities of the CIP department
- Respond to general student inquiries related to their chosen Career and Internship Programs
- Assist in setting expectations and guiding students through each step of the internship placement process throughout pre-departure
- Assist in collecting required acceptance documents from Career and Internship Programs students
- Assist in evaluating students for acceptance into their Career and Internship Programs
- Help facilitate clerical and administrative processes that support Career and Internship Program students throughout the pre-departure phase

- High school diploma required with some college experience or equivalent experience preferred.
- Demonstrated positive, professional, can-do attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative global team
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational & administrative skills
- Proactive, flexible, and able to work under pressure
- Polished written and oral communication skills
- Strong customer service skills, previous experience in customer service preferred
- Solid computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canvas, and Salesforce preferred
- Interest in working with an international organization and learning about study abroad pre-departure processes

Pay: $15.00/hour
Hours: This is a part-time hybrid (combination of in-person and remote) internship based out of our Phoenix, Arizona headquarters office. Interns will work 10-20 hours per week from January through May 2025 to support the Career and Internship Programs team during their busiest time of year. Hours are to be determined, but will occur during standard business hours, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
