Your Role:
The Marketing Automation & Content Coordinator oversees the development and execution of marketing automation functions, including email and SMS campaigns. This role will also be responsible for creating content related to these campaigns. As a key member of the marketing and communications teams, the Marketing Automation & Content Coordinator will work collaboratively with staff across the organization. The Student Experience Assistant reports to the Senior Digital Experience and Communications Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns using marketing automation platforms.
- Create and schedule email and SMS campaigns and workflows.
- Write, edit, and proofread compelling marketing content, including emails, SMS text, and web content.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver timely and adaptable email and SMS campaigns.
- Enhance and maintain student lead nurture and conversion initiatives focused on increasing student enrollment.
- Refine content messaging, implement segmentation, and list management.
- Analyze campaign performance and generate reports to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the creative team on templates and creative assets.
- Implement and uphold best practices for deliverability, sender reputation, and regulatory compliance including CAN-SPAM Act and other applicable procedures.
- Proactively monitor and study industry trends to help drive new marketing opportunities and initiatives.

Starting Salary: $58,000
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- 2 years of experience in marketing automation or related roles.
- Experience in marketing automation tools, preferably HubSpot and Mailchimp.
- Experience creating and editing content.
- Background in customer segmentation.
- Experience in marketing SMS.
- Very high attention to detail.
- Commitment to working with students from diverse and underrepresented populations in study abroad.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating with team members.
- Demonstrated initiative for problem solving and developing creative solutions.
Preferred:
- Enrollment and advising experience.
- Experience with digital communications tools, including email, marketing, and social media platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce, Canvas, Google, and Microsoft Office suite, including Teams.
