We are seeking a Program Coordinator to support our international participants and the employers who hire them for seasonal positions. This is a part-time, year-round position with increased hours from March to September when participants are in the U.S. The role is primarily remote, but occasional site visits, in-person assistance, and hosting cultural exchange activities may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Coordination & Support: Act as a liaison between international participants and employers, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality customer service.
- Participant & Employer Relations: Communicate daily via email, WhatsApp, and phone, providing guidance, troubleshooting issues, and logging correspondence in the student portal.
- Administrative Duties: Manage program paperwork, maintain organized records, and ensure compliance with all program and government requirements.
- Housing & Logistics: Organize and coordinate housing and transportation options for participants before their arrival.
- Event Planning: Assist in organizing cultural exchange events and activities.
- Reporting & Compliance: Maintain close supervision of accounts, complete monthly reports, and maintain ongoing communication with employers and participants.
- Business Development: Identify and establish new partnerships with local businesses to expand employer participation in the program. Develop strategic initiatives to enhance program growth and improve participant experiences.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely during typical business hours (with occasional nights and weekends as needed).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with minimal supervision required.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing top-tier support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Drive, Skype, Trello, and WhatsApp.
- Access to a home office setup with a computer, internet, printer, and unlimited nationwide calling plan.
- A passion for cultural exchange and working with international university-level participants.
